Behavioral Change

As part of a comprehensive healthcare package, NTIHC implements a range of SBCC activities, to sustain high knowledge levels, promote behavior change, and motivate health practice particularly positive behavior and services utilization among young people. Furthermore, NTIHC’s SBCC activities aim at sensitizing young people on health issues, creating awareness of health rights, and creating demand for SRH services. The SBCC activities are implemented through interactive interpersonal engagement and by the use of media platforms. The range of activities includes health educative talks done daily at the centre, interactive engagement in and during outreaches (health drives, health camps), Radio and Television programs, Print IEC materials, and social media engagement.
